DIY.farm provides general growing information for educational purposes. We do our best to keep it accurate, but plants and conditions vary — use your own judgment, especially around edibility and pet safety.

Pet safety & edibility

Pet-toxicity notes are drawn from the ASPCA database and flagged where a plant isn’t specifically listed. They’re a guide, not veterinary advice. If a pet ingests a plant and you’re concerned, contact your vet or a poison-control line. Only eat what you can positively identify as the edible plant and part described.
